MCAS Officers Rescue Dog from the Columbia River

Over the weekend, a call came in to our MCAS dispatcher about a dog that had gotten himself into trouble along the Columbia River. When MCAS officers Garvin and Roman arrived at the scene, they found the dog trapped under one of the floating docks that support a row of floating homes.

After about 40 minutes of work in the pouring rain, MCAS officers were able to rescue the dog from his precarious position and return him to his (very relieved) owner.
