Carmella is a petite, shy lady who would like to retire to a very calm home. She loves to be with her foster mom but easily naps the day away when she is alone. She quietly and politely sleeps beside her foster mom at night and only asks for attention once mom is awake. Even though she is not a lap cat, she is extremely affectionate and wants to be with her person. She loves to be pet and brushed, and especially loves to have her face and ears stroked. She also likes to follow her person around to enjoy quiet company or just relax on the couch during TV or reading time. She is a sweet girl but has a very hard time with change, so being surrendered and shelter life was extremely difficult for her. Carmella has lived with a benign dog and is tolerant, but an exuberant pup would be too much for her. She would, though, prefer to be your only feline friend if that's not too much to ask. She also has a sensitive tummy, so she is on an affordable, easy-to-apply ear gel medication every other day plus a special dry diet. Middle-age issues, you know? One more thing: no houseplants, she eats them!
