Raise awareness about the Kitten Triage program fundraiser to save the lives of kittens at Multnomah County Animal Services. Join us on August 1 at 11 am and 2 pm for live videos of kittens!
Kitten Triage Tuesday takes place every Tuesday from July 11 - August 22. Our social media presence will be all about how kittens are saved by the Kitten Triage Program.
We'll post a schedule of upcoming live-video streams where you can take a virtual tour of the Kitten Triage trailer, experience the day in the life of a kitten foster, watch kitten feedings, ask questions about the kittens and the program, and more! Please share the event on social media using #kittentriagetuesday.
Schedule for Tuesday, August 1
Tune in on Facebook for our live video stream of the Kitten Triage program, where you can comment, ask questions, and share with your friends!
- 11 am - Streaming live from the kitten trailer at Multnomah County Animal Services. View bottle baby kittens and sick kittens being treated when they first arrive at the shelter.
- 2 pm - Streaming live from Multnomah County Animal Services, featuring the work of the Action Cat Team (ACT) program, which is out in the community helping manage feral cat colonies, where many of the kittens in the Kitten Triage Program originate.
Matching Gift Challenge
One of our amazing kitten foster volunteers, Sheila, widely known on Instagram as Love2Foster, is conducting a Matching Gift Challenge! All Donations made during the live broadcasts at 11 am and 2 pm will be doubled, thanks to Sheila’s matching challenge, up to $1000. That means your donation of $50 to save kittens in the Kitten Triage program will become $100, and go twice as far.
Exclusive Kitten Naming Opportunity
Sheila (Love2Foster) currently has a litter of six kittens. We’re offering the exclusive opportunity to name these kittens on Kitten Triage Tuesday. During our first live broadcast at 11 am on August 1st, Sheila will post photos of the kittens on her Love2Foster Instagram profile, and each one of them will have a special donation link. We’ll also post the photos with the donation links on the Multnomah County Animal Services Facebook page at 11 am.
If you are the first to click on the link and donate $100, you receive the exclusive opportunity to name the kitten! Not only that, but thanks to Sheila’s matching donation, your $100 becomes $200 to care for kittens in the Kitten Triage Program!
