Perry is a shy boy at first, but once he warms up he is the biggest cuddle bug and lover around! He will lay right on you and demand more pets if he is not getting the attention he deserves. He is a very active and energetic boy and would do best in a home that has a yard (he LOVES playing fetch and knows how to drop the ball for you to throw it) and as a running and hiking buddy. Perry loves his person and likes to shadow them from room to room and would love to spend most of his time with his person! Perry is very treat motivated and easy to train (working on his interest in squirrels) and is a great listener and so eager to please his person. He is already potty trained, does not bark much and knows his own toys and doesn't take anything that isn't his. He has done well with some dogs but has been selective about others, what is most important to him is his person! Perry is 80lbs of love and thinks he should be a lapdog. If you are looking for your ultimate companion, Perry would love to be your guy. He is learning that the world is not a scary place and may take a little bit of time to for his full personality to shine (especially with men).
