Happy Adoption Story: Sophie
Hello, this is Sophie, the senior German Shepherd who was adopted a little over two years ago by my new amazing dog-dad from Multnomah County Animal Services. I wanted to update you on how I’m doing and thank you for giving me a second chance at a quiet loving home full of good treats, adventures, and nap times. I just celebrated my pawsome 14th birthday last weekend with my dog-dad at our friends ranch. We all had a blast playing fetch, walking around checking out all the smells, and dipping my paws in the river at sunset. I also got to take a long afternoon nap in the shade and watch "grandma" work in her garden. My friends gave me big hugs and lots of kisses for my doggone birthday, which I returned ten fold. Anyway, just wanted to thank you for finding my new dog-dad for me; he is taking the best care of me during my retirement. And being 14 dog years, or 98 human years, that's all I ask for.
