Meet Lukai, a 4 year old German Shepherd looking for a fresh start and a patient home. Lukai has a history of living with kids, making him a great family dog. He's also potentially good with other dogs, given proper introductions. He has been in a foster home where they report he is in LOVE with the resident female bull terrier but can be selective with other canine companions, so dog parks are not his cup of tea. His foster family thinks he would do best with a calm, female dog in the home with a proper introduction. They also report he is such a smart boy, when you say, go get the yellow toy, he comes back to you with the yellow toy, we think he will thrive in a home that provides mental stimulation and positive reinforcement training. He also will share everything with any friend, person or canine. Lukai has a history of seizures that are being well managed with medication. This is is something his new adopters should be aware of and discuss with their vet. Despite this, he remains a joyful and affectionate dog, always eager to make new friends and share his love.
