Happy Adoption Story: Sonny
While initially nervous about taking on our first adoption adventure, especially during a pandemic, I am pleased to share a positive experience. Over the last two months, Sonny has adjusted well to his new lavish lifestyle of frequent walks, occasional long runs, unlimited couch time, frequent pets, and of course his favorite toy, a rope! We employed a trainer to help us with the initial transition of teaching our new boy his name and the basic behavioral management practices which I strongly recommend for anyone taking on a young rescue. Thank you to MCAS for helping us provide a forever home for this amazing pup.
