Volunteers Needed for Laundry and Dishes
Clean blankets, towels, and food bowls make our shelter go round. Can you help as a laundry and dishes cleaning volunteer to help keep our animals comfortable and their environment clean?
Laundry and dishes are vital daily tasks at the shelter. There are currently openings on multiple days per week, both in the morning 7:30-10:30 and in the afternoon 12:00-2:30. Volunteers must be able to be on their feet for the majority of their shift, fold large blankets and towels, transfer items between washers, dryers, and laundry bins. This position does involve bending and stooping as well as reaching.
This is an entry level volunteer position and does not require animal handling experience. If you are interested in working with cats or dogs please begin the Fear Free Shelters training on the volunteer portal and email mcas.volunteer@multco.us once completed.
