Prepare For Wind, Heat, Power Shutoffs, and Potential Fire
The National Weather Service has issued a Red Flag Warning for various parts of the region. High wind and dry conditions are expected from 11 AM Friday to 5 PM Saturday. This will increase the risk of wildfire. PGE has issued Public Safety Power Shutoffs in some high-risk areas in order to minimize wildfire risk (view a map of active shutoffs). Wind-caused power outages can happen anywhere.
