I'm Mara, a young husky mix with a heart full of love, a tail that never stops wagging, and a personality that's as sweet as can be. Despite my rough start in life, I'm a super friendly and affectionate girl, eager to meet my forever family. I've got plenty of playful energy, but I'm also a big fan of winding down with cuddles after a good play session. I absolutely adore other dogs - they're some of my favorite playmates, and I'd love to have a furry sibling to share my adventures with. And while I'm not at all interested in chasing cats, I'm perfectly fine sharing space with them too! I'm a pretty laid-back girl when it comes to feline friends. Because of my tough beginnings, I do experience some separation anxiety. Being alone for long stretches of time can be a bit stressful for me, so I'd do best in a home where I'm not left alone for long periods. I'd love a family who can either work from home, has a flexible schedule, or who already has a doggy sibling to keep me company. With a little extra patience and understanding, I know I'll feel safe and secure, and I'll become the loyal, loving companion you've been waiting for. I'm a quick learner - I already know "sit," "down," and "shake" - and I'm eager to learn more!
