Event description
For Earth Month, the Multnomah County Office of Sustainability and City of Gresham's Solid Waste and Sustainability Team are hosting a DIY workshop to make cardboard toys for pets at MCAS.
Is your home overflowing with cardboard boxes that regularly arrive at your door? During this virtual demonstration with Multnomah County’s Animal Services and Office of Sustainability, and City of Gresham’s Solid Waste and Sustainability, learn to turn a simple cardboard box into small toys for the furry friends in your life -- or -- donate them to Animal Services.
The materials list is simple, including cardboard, scissors, and packing tape.
Want to take it a step further, making some tails wag and kitties purr? Create an extra toy or two for the adoptable cats and dogs in the care of Multnomah County Animal Services – and make an animal friend for life.
This event will include several raffle drawings for Chinook Books.
Please share this event with others! This event is open to all.
