Friends of Multnomah County Shelter Animals is accepting applications for volunteers to serve as board members on social media, corporate sponsorships, community outreach committees and general positions. Seeking passionate animal-welfare advocates in the community to support MCAS’s efforts. Interested applicants should provide contact information and a brief personal background on animal welfare.
Due to our staff vacancy for the Volunteer Coordinator, the next volunteer info session is tentatively scheduled for March 2020.
The MCAS-CAC advises the Department of Community Services, Animal Services Division. All meetings are held in accordance with the Oregon Open Meetings Law. Regular and special meetings are open to the public. Members of the public are able to speak during the last 15 minutes of each committee meeting.
