Maisie, a sweet 9-year-old American Pit Bull Terrier, is hoping to find a patient and understanding family to call her own. Shelter life has been a bit overwhelming for her, so she may need some time to adjust to her new home. Once she's comfortable, though, you'll discover her sweet and affectionate personality! Maisie would love a quiet home where she can relax and feel safe. She'll need an adopter who is committed to helping her build confidence and trust. Maisie seems to prefer being the only dog in the household. She might tolerate living with other calm dogs, but any introductions will need to be done slowly and carefully. With a little time and patience, Maisie will blossom into a wonderful companion. 🐾
