About me
Paddles is a young male kitten, all black and fuzzy with a huge purr, who was raised in a foster home as a single bottle baby. Because he didn't have a kitty mom or siblings to teach him the limits of wrestling, he can play a bit rough and tumble, although is easily distracted by toys. He might not be suitable for very young children who don't understand how to redirect him gently. Bottle fed kittens are typically very bonded with people, and Paddles is no exception. He is friendly and social, and will be your BFF if you play any games with him that involve chasing strings or laser lights. He LOVES all toys, especially little realistic mice, anything with feathers, and a "crazy circle". Paddles is litter box trained and is very reliable, as long as there are numerous boxes out and strategically placed in corners, which is typical of babies. He seeks comfort by wanting to nurse on your fingertips, also a common behavior of orphaned kittens. His favorite evening activity is alternating a hearty playing session with long stretches of nursing on his foster mom's hands while she holds him close. Paddles had the benefit of being mentored by his Uncle Frank (resident adult cat), and would absolutely love to have another friendly adult cat in the home or another kitten to play with.
