Event Details from City of Wood Village
In 2025, the City of Wood Village is proud and excited to introduce its first annual Easter Extravaganza!
For over three decades, the City of Wood Village hosted an annual Easter egg hunt. As the event, and community, grew over the years, the number of eggs reached over 30,000 and attendance neared 3,000, which is almost equivalent to the entire population in Wood Village. The City decided it was time to change the event alongside the changing community.
The new event will include lots of family fun and allow for parents and children to enjoy the event at their own pace, visiting with the Easter Bunny, enjoying the petting zoo, getting faces painted, walking the StoryWalk® around the park, and much more. In addition, the City will welcome outside organizations and local businesses at the event to connect community members with resources and services such as healthcare, recreation, technology, and more.
While there won’t be an egg hunt, there will still be lots of fun for all!
