Found at sellwood riverfront dog park. In tact, male, husky who is very very skinny. People mentioned he'd been running up and down the beach with no owner in sight for over 2 hrs when I got there (they hoped I was the owner as he started following me and my dogs). I was there for a long time myself and several of us saw the person we all believed he belonged to leave (someone else said it was their owner but I never spoke to them myself, so idk if they were). Sun was going down.. noone claimed him, so I brought him home for the night to feed him and keep him safe. All the local vets were closed by this time for Chip scan. Will get him scanned and possibly bring him to a shelter in the morning as I cannot keep him. He's very sweet and mostly getting along with mine and my roommates dog but some tiffs because he's in tact and wants to be dominant but he does listen when they tell him no. He did have a collar, no tag. There was a whole group of us that agreed someone needed to take him by the time I left, this was not decided lightly. He was either abandoned, so poorly monitored many ppl couldn't find his owners for 4 hrs, or escaped his home and made his way to sellwood for an adventure. Possibly roaming around for awhile as he's so skinny but when offered food he'd eat a lil go off and sniff the yard then come back for more. Didn't seem super desperate for it. If you know him or have any information please reach out. Thank you.
