Happy Adoption Story: Beegee
We adopted Beegee a little more than one year ago when she was 3 years old. She was named "Baby" when we got her, which we quickly changed. We had been waiting for small dogs to show up on the shelter web site. When Beegee appeared with two other small dogs, all three surrendered by the same previous owners, we visited the shelter immediately and connected with Beegee. She is smart and affectionate, beyond what we might have imagined. Of the three small dogs we have owned separately over time, Beegee is the best, but probably we would have said that about the other two when they were still with us.
